This website has been created by David Shorto, print buyer for both Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace. It aims to help you to make informed choices to reduce the environmental impact of your printed materials.Using this website as a guide will help you to wade through
the myths, misinformation and commercial bias surrounding this subject area - something which can be difficult with so many uninformed people offering comments and advice on environmental issues.

Use PPE to establish the fibre breakdown of your chosen materials. Only materials that contain recycled fibre and / or are FSC certified are featured. Use PPE to locate an environmentally accredited printer. Only printing companies that have proven their environmental commitment through appropriate accreditation are featured.
